It's not like Maulana Maududi's books are filled with a mixture of good and bad. His book on hijab and purdah is all good, book on jihad praised by Syed Sulaiman Nadwi, Tafhim al Quran covers only basics of Islam. Just don't read Khilafat-o-Malukiat. No genius needed for that.

are you not aware of what he says about the sahaba in tafheem?
how do you expect laymen to sift the good from the bad in tafheem?
