Scholars have stated that it is perfectly fine to hold the friday prayer in more mosques in one city.

He clear states "There is no doubt of the permissibility of holding multiple jumu'a prayers. Where it is permissible to hold the jumu'a prayer, mulitple jumu'a prayers are also allowed. This is the chosen stance of the madhhab and that is the reliable view (mu'tamad) and mufta bihi."
