Although Dr. Zakir Naik is a good Da'ee to Islam in the field of comparative religion, he's not a scholar of religious sciences (Alim).

Views on Deeni things should primarily be taken from those who specialize in its field; the Ulamaa.

Agreed, though he is a righteous da'i. No doubt with that. hundrerds have become muslim in his hands.
His opinion on TJ is very much important, to me, at least.
