Brother does it really matter what he thinks?

Your making zakir naik a authority on islam, which he clearly is not! If he agrees or not how should that effect you?

Why do people give such positions to people when the qualifications required to be in such positions is not found by a thousand miles.

just look in the light of the quran, hadith and lives of sahaba and you will find the answers you reqiure for the effort of dawah and tabligh.
That's exactly what I was thinking.

Brother Duetomyweekness, you spend so much time in trying to confront and convince people who are against TJ. I have noticed so many of your threads on these type of topics on the ummah forum as well and I have advised you to direct your efforts on things that our ulama in tabligh encourage us to do.

So try to utilize your time and effort in inviting people towards deen of Allah and not towards TJ. This is what I heard in a bayan in our Brisbane Ijtema last month from a khudama brother from Sydney. Also, try to involve in 5 a'amaal and that is more important for our ownself rather than trying to convince those that oppose the effort. Because, in reality those who oppose are a tiny minority while majority either like the effort of tabligh or are neutral. So you have a vast majority to make effort on those who do not oppose the effort. Utilize your time in a wise way.

Make ihtisaab of ourself, whether we are doing the effort in the way our ulama advice us to do. Are we sitting in daily fikr & mashoora at the masjid? Are we attending daily taleem at the masjid? Are we conducting daily taleem at our homes? Are we doing weekly jaulah of our masjid and are we attending jaulah of the neighbouring masjid? Are spending time daily to meet brothers to give them dawah every day? Are we spending 3 days every month on tarteeb?

These are the things that we need to worry about first rather than trying to convince people who are opposing the effort.

May Allah give us the correct understanding of the blessed effort of deen. I advise myself first before you.
