I have translated as best and as accurately as humanly possible.

1) Whether this is a sound scientific or Islamic opinion, is another matter.

2) On the ground reality is similar to what Br Enigma is saying.

3) In the UK Deobandi scholars who know about these issues can be counted on the fingers of one hand.

From my experience, it seems to be a difference of opinion between the Pakistani and Gujaratis. Although some Pakistanis agree with the Gujaratis if they themselves had studied under Gujratis teachers.
