Assalaam,
I had heard that Maulana Thanvi had given a fatwa of kufr on madarsatul Islah and maulana Hameeduddin Farahi. is it correct? Are the graduates of this Madarsa in U.P, India, like Yusuf Islahi Ameen Ahsan ISlahi etc and their books (Tafseer Tadabbur e Quran )reliable?

Also, Dr Irfan Ahmad Khan wrote a book published by Islamic Foundation UK on Reflections on the Quran based on Farahi and Islahi's ideas. Does anyone recommend this book?

Lastly, what is deobandi opinion on nazm Quran (thematic commentary)?
