Right to the point, salafiyya is a bit problematic. They say the Islam of the previous scholars of Hanafi, shafi'i etc are wrong. Which is a bit over the top. I would suggest you to avoid them and as brother yoldash said do not engage in any ideological discussion with them.

The best thing for you to do is to learn the basics of Islam like Salah, Fastin(Ramadan is coming soon ) etc. Find a good hanafi imam so that he can teach you Salah. If you have any doubts please post here itself, there are many knowledgable people here you will be able to help you InshaAllah.. Thank you for the welcome. Where do I learn these things?
