I recite Al-Fathia and a surah in salaah behind the imaam

Some brothers say don't recite and some say you should?

As far as Surah Al-Fatihah is considered then there are three (3) differences of opinions:

1. Surah Al-Fatihah is NOT recited at all behind the Imam whether the Imam is reciting loudly or silently
2. Surah Al-Fatihah is ALWAYS recited behind the Imam whether the Imam is reciting loudly or silently
3. Surah Al-Fatihah is ONLY recited behind the Imam when the Imam is reciting silently
