I thought deobandis were sufis too..or are you of the wahhabi variant?

It is a fact (some if not many) sufis use dubious reports to promote deviant ideologies.
May be you wouldn't have asked the question if I used the term 'barelwis'. I mentioned sufis because we like to discredit shi'as for distorting reports amongst other things yet when sufis (aka "traditional scholars") do so we remain silent.
