Assalamu'alaykum,

I've been talking to a local brother and apparently there is a Darul Uloom called Jamia Siraj ul-Uloom (Lantern of Knowledge) quite close to where I live where some of the teachers have close links to Maulana Saleem Dhorat as well as Hazrat Yusuf Motola.

Inshallah I will be attending their weekly dhikr circle next Thursday and discuss my situation with them. I've also been invited to visit Maulana Saleem Dhorat in January with one brother. However, this brother insists that Maulana follows the Chisti not the Naqshbandi tariqah so I'm a little confused there. I've been studying and practicing the advice of the Shaykh Zulfiqar Ahmad and Shaykh Husain Abdul Sattar, should I be worried about "switching" to a different tariqah??
