Alhamdullilah, Mufti Ismail Menk is in Mauritius and today I attended his talk on ' The Beauty of the Qur'aan. Masha Allah, simply beautiful the talk was. Also very inspirational. His recitation of the Qur'aan is also magnificient.

He ended the talk with the following words which struck me:

'Allah (SWT) will use the Qur'aan to elevate some people. The same Qur'aan will be used to lower some people. So on which side do you want to be?

May Allah (SWT) rewards him for his efforts.
