Dude, read that hadith again. Rasoolullah got angry at Umar (ra) for refering the Torah! If there was no problem reading the Torah, why did Rasoolullah become angry?

And He said: "...they will not guide you when they have gone astray. (If you listen to them) You will either disbelieve in what is right or believe in what is false."

Is disbelieving in right and believing in false a good thing? Definitely not. Well its what will happen if we refer the torah and injeel, because its not clear to us which is true and which is false in these corrupted books. Comprendez?
First of all my name is not Dude.

I thought that was very rude. (kinda rhymes don't it)

Secondly, we don't know what exactly the person was reading out of the Torah? But obviously, it was something the Prophet ppbuh found offensive.

As to the verse we have been discussing; the Quran and the Torah are in agreement.

So I see No problem in accepting this verse of the Torah as supporting the Quran and not corrupted.
