the real fight is actually between the nationalists and Islamists. The non-Muslim minority will support the nationalists but they differ greatly along the ethnicity line. If more and more Muslim nationalist can be given da'wa to accept Islam properly and to filter out the colonial nationalism garbage, then

things will be for the better.
