There was a message circulating from the grand-daughter of Shaykh 'Ali Tantawi (not the Egyptian one, the Syrian/Saudi one) who has contacts within the Saudi reigime, and who stated that the Americans were pushing for the arming of the rebels to be delayed, giving them time to train up the replacement government. . .
