Why marriage is obligatory? What is the purpose of MARRIAGE. Love leads to SEX and not necessarily MARRIAGE? I shall be grateful for your views with references from THE HOLY QURAN.

Purpose of marriage is to *officially legalized* a relationship between two human beings. You will ask "why is this important" ? So the answer is this : When you are in a relationship with another person , there is no security..whether legal or economic. Once married , your relationship is official and now you have certain rights over your partner and vice versa. These rights include legal rights , economic rights , and other rights too (Like you or your partner now can not sleep with some other person. Without marriage , they can and you can't do anything against them) ..

If you may know , sexuality is VERY important for any civilization to grow and survive. Marriage just institutionalizes sexuality so that MILLIONS of people can safely do it and civilization will grow. In our previous times (Tribal era/Middle-ages) , sexuality without marriage was not feaseable ...
