I am not too sure about the technological basis of those verses. However the Quran also metions that Sulayman AS, spoke to an ant, and the earth itself speaks and obeys the command of Allah swt...to materialist unbelievers this sounds like mythical fairy stories to be laughed at or mocked, nothing to do with Science or technology.

Yet for me the verses revealing that an ant and the earth speak, fills me with awe. Everything is alive, even the earth in which we are buried when we die...the material or matter is alive and we are living in a world that is completely misunderstood by materialists, our skin and our fingers will speak in the akhira...death is not the end.
