Assalamu alaykum

Copy and paste:

He had gone to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. Born in Gonibeed village, Mudigere taluk in Chikamagalur district, he had graduated from a premier Islamic institution from city, ‘Sabilur Rashad’. He was famous for his eloquent speeches (mostly Khutbaat-e-Jumma), and religious columns in local Urdu newspapers.

He held the position of Imam O Khateeb of the famous City Jamia Masjid in the Bangalore for many years. He successfully transformed the Masjid into a centre of Islamic activities for the overall reformation of society following on the lines of Masjid-e-Nabuvi. Maulana’s services in the field of unity of Muslims, education, economic upliftment, and empowerment of Muslim women through education will be remembered.

His contribution in promoting unity amongst different Muslim sects is worthy of mention. He always discouraged sections of Ulama and people from distinguishing Muslims on the lines of their Masaalik(sects). He advised and encouraged promoting of unity among all the Masaalik of Muslims on the basis ofUmmath-e-Waahida (One Community). He used to say, “Let them follow what is dear to them as per theirMaslak while you follow what you think is right. No one can and should judge others’ faith. Still we can live together peacefully and promote unity of all. This is the basis of Deen (Religion).”

Apart from holding the position of Imam-O-Khateeb he served many social and religious organizations in different capacities including Karnataka Muslim Muttahida Mahaz, Milli Council, and Jame-ul-Uloom institutions.

Many leaders from Muslim and non-Muslim communities have condoled the sad demise of Maulana. Condolence messages are pouring in. A few prominent among them are Maulana Sirajul Hasan, former Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maulana Qadeer Ahmed Ada-ul-Amiri, Abdulla Javed, State President, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Masood Abdul Khadir, Convenor, Karnataka Muslim Muttahida Mahaz and Syed Hamid Mohsin, Chairman, Salam Centre.

Salamalaikum
It seems Maulana had instructed his wife and daughter who had accompanied him to Haj, that if he passes away during Haj, his body should not be taken back to Bangalore. Alhamdulillah he has been granted a place in Jannat Al Ma'aalla in Makkah Mukarramah.
May Allah shower his mercy on him
ameen

----Right, he is now resting in Jannat Ul Ma'la

I listened one of Maulana's speech today and Masha Allah he had such a sweet way of explaining the things.

May Allah give him Jannah.
