Thats Not True.. he did not side with the British or oppose the Tahreek of Hazrat Shaikh ul Hind

but did have some differences with him.. he was a loyal person.. he was awarded the title of Shamsul ulema by the Birtish U.P governor.. and he did accept that at the moment for diplomatic reasons.. and returned it back later..
i really dont have time to translate at the moment.. so posting the scans..
