Assalamu `Alaykum

I am engaged to a wonderful and beautiful Muslimah. Alhamdulillah. There is a major problem, however.

We got engaged without the parent's knowledge. So she recently told her parents that she wanted to marry me and she asked them if I could meet them.
'
Their response has been to punish her and shut her out from the world. They're not allowing her to leave the house nor to talk to me. They haven't allowed me to meet them or to even ask for their daughter's hand in marriage from them. Instead, they are suspicious of me and my family because I am a convert and my family is a little disfunctional. None of which is my fault.

So I humbly request du'a from you brothers and sisters. Ask Allah to ease this Muslimah's situation. Ask Allah to soften her parents' hearts and to have them stop yelling at her and punishing her. Ask Allah to have it be so that her parents are willing to meet me very soon and discuss my proposal. Also, ask Allah to allow it so that I may seek outside help in this situation (such as from an Imam).
