Assalamualaikum,

I believe that my daughter has fallen ill from sihr - is there a way to find out who it is? A prayer, a dua...a prescription of some sort??

Hope this is of use:

Ad Daarimi recorded that Ash Shabi said that Abdullah Ibn Masud said, "whoever recites ten ayaat from Surah Baaqarah in a night then Shaytaan* will not enter his house that night. These ten ayaat are four from the beginning, ayatul kursi and the following two ayatain from it and the last three ayaat of Surah Baqarah."
In another narration, Ibn Masud said, "then Shaytaan will not come near him or his family, nor will he be touched by anything that he dislikes. Also, if these ayaat were to be recited over a senile person, they would wake him up."
Ad Daarimi 2:322.

*The text I am copying from is not clear at this juncture. I am not 100% sure whether the word is Shaytaan or not. What is clear that it means something evil.
