Wa 'alaikum assalam wa rahmatullah,

I am from Birmingham and my shaykh is Shaykh Tauqeer Chaudhary sahib, hafidhahuAllah. He is a khalifah of Shaykh Zulfiqar Sahib, hafidhahuAllah. Mashaa Allah he is from the UAE but comes to the UK often and has gatherings in Birmingham especially when he does come. He has a lot of mureeds here in the UK. Visit his website:

If not him I can suggest Shaykh Kamaluddin Ahmed

Both are Deobandi and have gone through formal alim programs.
