May Allah give you a sheikh which is full of true knowledge of Islam and will benefit you in all aspects. Can you tell me akhi, are there such sheikhs available who can be like a spiritual guide (i.e. someone who can help you spiritually, through naseeha and listening to your internal issues)? I've never come across them. Most of those I know are too busy and I feel ashamed to trouble them with more than which they can handle. Examples please of some who will? Not trying to derail the thread but actually further emphasise your question for any sufi sheikhs (except I would like mine from deobandi hanafi tablighi like hasan ali).

What I meant was, I heard some Shuyukh review their mureeds progress every week or month or whatever, sometimes through email (just general stuff like whether you prayed in jamaat, kept to all the dhikr, etc). I like the sound of that but it's not necessary as long as I get some benefit from this insha Allah. for the dua, I pray the same for you and all of us
