He gives you some ma'moolat to do and you have a record sheet which you email to Shaykh Sahib weekly explaining how the ma'moolat is going on, if you have any issues in your spirituality you mention it to him and he gives you advice. Sometimes he might be busy, but you are still included in his duaas inshaa Allah. When he comes to the UK, since you are a brother you can spend time with him and serve him. Inshaa Allah that can help as well. He is very humble and mostly treats his students very softly, even when he scolds he is calm and he is very concerned. I find it amazing how he lowers himself. I don't know how it's like on the brother's side but I guess they would get direct tarbiyyah from him.
