Yes, it's time for another one of these threads again So basically, I need a sufi Shaykh, preferably Deobandi (because I like their approach to fiqh and so forth) but doesn't have to be... strict on the sunnah, gentle with the believers type of shaykh. Someone who I can have a correspondence with on a regular basis, maybe through email... doesn't have to be local to me (Birmingham)... in fact, since my family/community is all barelwi, maybe he shouldn't be local lol, otherwise I'll just get hassled if they find out I'm bayah to a Deobandi Shaykh down the road or something. I like the Naqshbandi tariqah but I don't mind any, as long as the Shaykh is good. Preferably an aalim Any suggestions? P.S I request a general du'a for me from anyone reading the thread
