then ur fine, arent u? thats what we all do, believe in Allah and the finality of prophet Mohammad sal Allahu alayhi wassalam's prophethood, love him, pray five times, pay zakaat, haj and umrah. You're good, better to stay away from salafi vs sunnis vs barelwis etc. I just stick to what the classical scholars, the imams have said, I follow a madhhab and try to stay away from sectarian issues, i find these arguements very draining in terms of eeman and spirituality.
okay but I have gone to the Mawlid Un Nabi conferences and gatherings and some people claiming it's Haram?

I don't do anything bad there?

It's just conferences where we learn about the Prophet, and some people recite poetry (No music or singing or dancing), some people do Quran recitation, a few speeches, read our prayers (if it's time to) and than we have dinner. (Usually only Men are invited but Women sometimes come too - and no there is not any free-mixing, the women have their own area)

So which way is correct? People who do this or don't?

Because whoever go to this gathering is labelled "Sunni" and those who object it/don't go are labelled as "Salafi or Wahabi"

I don't understand the differences.
