actually this is under debate, most sunnis are of the opinion eid maulad is biddah and we refrain from these activities because we see no proof in the shariah or sunnah, its better to stay away from doubtful matters. Wallahu alam

Some sunni people I watched on YouTube and read online provide evidence that it's permissible.

Whereas other people provide evidence it's not permissible.

I don't understand who's right or wrong.
