Hello guys!

I follow the Deobandiya school of law

I have read the Sunnah method of Ghusl at many websites but I cannot find one complete one. I know that gargling is important in Ghusl but in most places, there is no mention of gargling in the Sunnah method of Wudhu. When do we perform gargling in the traditional method of Wudhu? Does it replace rinsing the mouth? How do we perform it?

P.S. If a person is not aware of the Islamic method of Ghusl and he does not perform it that way, would his prayers be accepted during that period? I mean if he does not even know that there is an Islamic method prescribed for Ghusl.

Thanks

In the Hanafi Madhhab, rinsing the mouth and the nose are two of the three fara'id (obligatory elements) of ghusl, the third being having water passed on the whole body. Without any of these three elements, a ghusl won't be valid.

While during wudu', rinsing the mouth is a sunnah element, not a fard or wajib one.
