Brother being from the US deserves an opportunity to release some steam. We face much lesser hurdles on the daily basis in fulfilling our Islamic duties.

The way I look at it is as follows. Nation of Islam started as a copy cat of Islam. Then some time back Imam W.D.Muhammed decided to merge his herds with the rest of the herd. This is the power of imitating the ways of beloved Prophet (PBUH). Of course there are some steps that above mentioned people have to take in order to come closer to the right path but what ever has been achieved is not insignificant. Similarly the people who are trying to walk on the path shown by beloved Prophet (PBUH) will, Lord willing, end up at the right destination. In fact it is really heartening to know that the first thing they remembered after leaving India or Pakistan is Islam. From a distance I can only love them. They are much better than those who have gotten lost in that quagmire of modernity without leaving a trace behind them - the trace that could have lead them back to the comfort of Islam. I hope that their number is small.
