Well the answer to this question is not rocket science - to achieve fear of Allah swt one has to adopt the company of those who have fear of Allah swt - kunu ma'as sadiqeen - clearly and in plain language answers the question.

A lot of people though do not know what "fear Allah" means - is fearing Allah swt the same type of fear you would get if suddenly a big dangerous snake jumped in front of you?

Fear Allah swt meaning do not break the commandments of Allah swt, uphold them and carry them out.

My problem is I feel like Allah SWT will forgive me when i break His SWT laws. But that can't be right since the sahabah, who have more right to forgiveness, feared Allah SWT so much.
