I was only repeating what a local Shaykh said in a speech, I did not do the actual speech any justice. The analogy refers to our individual appointed time of death, when Allah swt is calling us back to Him, some of us will dread it (May Allah save us from this), and some of us will yearn for it (May Allah makes us from amongst these). If we keep this end in mind, we can insha Allah work towards a good end while we still breath and enjoy the countless Blessings of Allah swt.

I think the best of students do indeed fear being called to the principle's office. Whereas the worst, don't really care. And the ones in-betwee... they get anxious, not really sure what's going on but not completely afraid.

I don't like classroom analogies
