However, I remember I heard once somebody said that (meaning more or less) a good reciter of the qur'an is not he who has beautiful voice, but is who when recite the qur'an, you can feel that he has the fear of ALLAH in his heart...

if based on that criteria, I think my fav reciter would be the late Maulana Muhammad Umar Palanpuri (nawwar allaahu marqadahu), as once in his bayan he recited some verses from the Qur'an, and my eyes could not stop from weeping...
