Sometimes this mercy feeling turns into pride for me.
If I do this work feeling sorry for the sad state of other Muslims it gets into me that I am better than them.

Could you provide some examples of showing mercy in Tableegh in such a way that it does not turn into pride?

Don't worry too much, do the work as per the tarteeb and keep making dua to Allah SWT for your tarbiyat, tabligh is a great way of getting your islah done & you can find more of that happening when you do khidmah of the saathis in khurooj and esp. at ijtemas.
