“And keep reminding, because reminding benefits the believers.” (51:55)
the cure for this is to know that you are not better than them unless Allah say's you are,

and as far as you know He does not,

you could even be hanging over the hellfire saved only by a thread of your good deeds -

so keep up with the tabligh and the good deeds

because every one of them could be like the charity of a single date that saves someone from the hellfire through the mercy of Allah.

you are praying and doing some good deeds,

but how do you know that you are not undoing them all

through sins that in your eyes are little things

but which are serious in the eyes of Allah?

your pile of good deeds that you think is healthy -

could in fact be much smaller than you think -

so keep running towards Allah and repenting -

and remember that you are a little person -

who one day will have to face his Creator -

and this is your only time to do good deeds -

because as far as you know - you could be going to die tomorrow (or anytime)

so keep up with the fards, sunnahs, tabligh and other good deeds

and never let satan trick you for a moment to feel complacent or self satisfied

and remember that hellfire is like a tidal wave that engulfs those

who delay in struggling up the mountain of Islam towards Allah (SWT)

in the ways that He has ordered and instructed us through the Holy Prophet (saws).
and thanks for the reminder
