Excellent lecture,

. It touches on many of the issues coming up in various threads on SF. Calling on the ummah to 'wake up!' and the dire need to listen to the issues that are present in our communities. Calling on us to build the necessary infrastructure (even within the context of Western, non-Muslim lands) to deal with such issues as domestic violence, "oppression, degradation, humiliation and a deep lack of awareness of our deen and [dhikr of] Allah (SWT)." At the core: family, rights of children, rights of parents, and society.
