Why would you congratulate some one for committing a sin? Why don't you inform them that this is wrong? It may be rude, but surely you can do it in a polite way.

They know it is wrong, and they know how I feel towards some of the things which they do/don't do in their life. As far as doing it in a "polite way", I kind of have a problem with that, so I've just been avoiding talking to them since they bought the house. However, sooner or later, we will obviously have to talk and then please make dua may Allah

put the right words in my mouth. Ameen.
