Yeah it is strange for 3 reasons. 1 as female "expert" gynecologists are present and 2nd Ob/Gyn is a VERY tough field. Its not as easy as other specialities. And 3rd, there is a constant rejection from females for not allowing males to examine, atleast on a daily basis. The resistance affects one work.

Still, there are some men who want to be gynecologists. May be its down to either real passion and career path for this field or blocking of Drs other specialization, so they chose the next best.
