Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: Treat women kindly. Woman has been created from a rib and the most crooked part of the rib is the uppermost. if you try to straighten it, you will break it and if you leave it, alone it will remain crooked. So treat women kindly. (Bukhari and Muslim)

This hadith is so key in understanding Dawa with women. Don't try to straighten it nor leave it alone but treat them kindly. Its depressing to me that Muslims, including me in my early much ignoramus born again years, somehow from somewhere obtained this mentality of quick blaming the women in a manner of labelling them with evil presumptive notions, on seeing some little evil or mistake coming from them.
