Nowadays just for NAME SAKE people grow beard, finely trimmed ones which sometimes make me think that they are french, mexican, italian decent.
Do you guys recommend our brothers growing beard like disbelieving Europeans?

Yes, this is very unfortunate, especially when imams do it. It makes it difficult for those of us who want to grow a proper beard, as people point to the imams and say if it was necessary to let the beard grow, he would have done it.
