Salam brother,

My family can get like yours not with arguing and the like, but not being very religious. The only thing you can do brother is you carry on acting like a Muslim with whatever you do, act like a Muslim. As Habib Umar and many others have said, if we act like Muslims ourselves people will just follow. So don't worry about "preaching" to them or persuading them... You be a good Muslim and pray to Allah to guide them... eventually i speak from personal experience, your family will follow brother. They will do what you do and if you continue, they will continue being pious... and you will get many reward, InshAllah

Set an example

Be strong in faith

NEVER criticise or insult or shout at your family - this will not help.

Have mercy, speak gently about the Prophet and Allah in conversation. Talk to your family members about random things, make jokes, do not become depressed, angry and stern at your family.

Do not give up hope, keep doing what you do and be kind.

And lastly make Dua, Only Allah guides, Ask him to Guide your family.

Eventually i assure you your family will come around brother. This happened with my family, speak with love and advice NOT anger and command.

May Allah guide your family, bless your family, accept your family and have Mercy upon your family.

Salam.
Brother

This no doubt very good advice and perhaps when our brother makes dua he may wish to recite the duas of the prophets when they were experiencing difficulties such as the following
1. Allahumma inni a’oodhu bika mina al-hamm wa’l-hazn wa’l-ajz wa’l-kasal wa’l-bukhl wa’l-jubn wa dala wa’l-dayn wa ghalbat al-rijal
Trans: O Allah ! I seek refuge in You from distress, grief, incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, the burden of debt and from being overpowered by Men.

Anas said that when the Prophet, peace be upon him, was faced with a serious difficulty, he would always supplicate, “Ya Hayyu, ya Qayyumu, bi-rahmatika astaghithu (O the Living, O the Eternal, I seek help in Your grace)."
Source: Tirmidhi

But remember ALLAH(swt) is Al-Wakeel (the disposer of our affairs so only ALLAH (SWT) can truly help in all matters. “When Allah wants to be good to someone, He tries him with some hardship.” (Abu Hurairah)
