Salaamu alaiykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu I've seen many posts that debate about fiqh issues and which one is more closer towards the sunnah even though both are. Let us now talk about a more pressing and serious issue, which is of 'aqeedah. There are two main ones here: 'ashari and athari. 'Ashari claim that Allah is everywhere whereas athari claim that Allah is above his throne SWT. Atharis say that 'asharis are committing a MAJOR sin (possibly shirk) by saying Allah is present everywhere, even within his creation. So clearly this is a difference which is more pressing as people within sunni believe in different ones!!! So...where is Allah? This discussion should be mature, open minded and accepting for the sake of Allah. I don't want this to turn into a means of fighting or argument for this is not befitting of believers.
