Assalam o 'alaykum,

Imam Anwar Shah Kashmiri said that when I read the books of Ibn Rushd in refutation of Imam Ghazali, I became very prejudiced towards Ibn Rushd. But when I studied Bidayat al-Mujtahid, I had to repent from my earlier position. (Malfuzat Kashmiri, p.367)
