I forgot to add that I used to hook up my computer like you describe but I was given an AppleTV for Christmas so now I don't have to..I like it even though it has a few glitches that need to be ironed out.

I'm not even sure what that is, i stopped trying to keep up with the hi-tech around 1990.
By that time they came out with 5.1 CD's -why?

Tibetian bells are cool, every once in awile i'll play some Buddist monks chanting if I meditate.
I have to be in the mood, and need to have no-one around to distract me - I'm not a very good "meditator" LOL
I prolly should be spending more time studying Buddism, and less time posting.

Subwoofers?? Naw. Been to too many rock and roll shows where the bass is turned up too loud.

I like it loud, but i stick to the audible hearing range
