@ br silat- I am wondering as well. The only time I know I am dreaming is when I have a nightmare and I tell myself it's only a dream to wake up.

Taqwah means to give up doubtful things. This activity soundly falls into doubtful category. Demand of Taqwah will be to give it up.

Then there is another hadeeth where it is told that if a person indulges in useless activity then his connection with Allah(SWT) is severed. This is also a severe admonition.

Thirdly any activity having spiritual dimension must be executed in supervision of a qualified expert.

In view of this I personally find this activity inadvisable.

I stand corrected by experts.

And Allah(SWT) knows best.
