My hesitation with lucid dreaming is that we're not angels. We all have nafs and Allah knows best what goes on in our minds. According to what is written in this thread, a person in a lucid dream has control over the dream to do whatever he wishes. If this is so, then what is stopping the person from commiting haram acts in the dream?

I know that what we do in a dream is not taken to task. However, if we are conducting our own dreams, then is it not like being awake and fantasizing about haram things? The only thing is that in a dream it is much more than fantasizing.

I feel it too risky for one's nafs.
