@ br zahed-This happens to someone I know a lot. Last time the person had an attack was last year. It's always the same, feeling suffocated, like someone is strangling the person, yet the person's eyes are awake. The person would try to move, read ta'awwuz, ayatul kursi, but nothing. Although there is medical cause for this, I do feel a few of these cases are jinnat etc due to the sights the person saw while in this state.

As I have mentioned it happened in my childhood and early teen . Did not experience such things since.
I do not give it much attention. I was very strong willed as a child . From what I have studied here it seems a natural ability pre programmed for
every human. Allah knows best.

We should think of these matters as natural , elements the world is made
of. There are inferior beings.
