I have tried to enter Mecca and Medina in my dreams when i become lucid, i have tried seeing companions, the Messenger, Muhammad (Saw) but it has not happened... they are truly gifts of Allah and i hope one day inshAllah i will be able to see them too.

Wallahu a'lam I think if we’re controlling our dreams then there’s nothing new we can learn from them. We produce the events in those dreams; our brains imagine them. So it may seem like we’re gaining knowledge from an external source (e.g. we’re reading Encyclopedia Britannica or chatting with Einstein) but in reality, we aren’t actually learning anything because if we were, that would mean our brain was teaching itself new information! Something paradoxical and inconceivable.

But perhaps it could still be useful for developing our creativity and solving problems. Einstein came up with the theory of relativity thanks to a dream he had though I'm not sure if he was controlling it or not.

Still.. it's pretty fun to do! I succeeded once: I was climbing up stairs and realized I was dreaming so I flew up on a magic carpet instead! Then, I got exited and woke up. hehe

Barak Allah ta’aala
