I don't think you are right on the 70% people of syeds being sunnis. Because, in order to be a Syed, you would have to be coming from the 12 Imams of the shias. Like me for example, I have a shia background. This would imply that Shias probably have more syeds than sunnis do.

not just 70% but maybe even 80%, trust me everyone knows this, the shiites just brag about nothing I dare them to make a statistic, most of the Sayyeds are sunni and they don't even care about the title.
