Uh oh....I think you may have just opened up a can of worms here...did you see the other thread in the Arabic section? In any case, Tee insists that ahmar was the word Arabs used to describe white people, so I guess according to him this nickname means she was white.

I think they've explained Humairaa as "Abyad Musharrab bil Humra" Which can mean that she was of a tanned color, Not extremely white like the europeans nor extremely black like some parts of Africa.

Still I'd rather read a confirmation from someone who has spent some time researching this, like step by step how he reached his conclusion.
