Assalam aleykum

Let us assume there two men and they are both idol worshipers; hence they go to hell (if they die).
Then after 30 years one of them dies. Another one continues his life.
At age let's say 35 the man that continues his life becomes a muslim; hence his sins are forgiven.

Question:
At the judgement day, the one that died at the age 30 may say to Allah:
"Why do i have to go to hell and not that man if we both were idol worshipers at the age 30 and i did not have same amount of time (and chance) as he had to become a muslim. So why are we judged equally."?
the one that died at age 30, he will not embrace Islam even if he live for 100 years or even more.

wallaahu a'lam.
