Patience and steadfastness manifest in more than one way...

It takes patience to train in military and put up with hardships in a war (I don't have that patience).

It takes another type of patience to sit down and create technologies and plans that fighters can use, instead of sending them without plan or good weapons.

Take an old example: the suit of chain-mail armour that was worn by Muslim warriors. Each suit takes two months to make. The suit is made of thousands of iron rings, and each ring is linked to its neighbours, each ring is individually riveted shut! for maximum strength. What kind of sabr does it take to make a suit?
